June-y progress report:
Rockethaus has a groundhog.
And a family of raccoons.
Inside the house is quiet and warm and quietly shifting around to work better.
The garden is doing okay. Between my rushed tilling job this spring, torrential rain the week after I planted, a week of absence (and no water) in May, and SOMEONE eating the heads off one plot of beans, I’m counting myself lucky to have a bit of lettuce here and there.
Next on my plate: the annual killing of the wasps.
